Further Information
We are registered with the Care Inspectorate as a Housing Support Service.
The service is staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
There are 11 single occupancy flats provided by the local authority, which are supported directly from the service base on site.
We also offer outreach support to young people who are living in temporary accommodation, including bed and breakfast or their own tenancy across the local authority. This includes young people who are involved in Throughcare or Aftercare services.
We work with young people and their families to co-create a service which helps them achieve their goals.
The service works closely with other agencies to give the young people the support they need.
We offer tailored support, focused on empowerment and personal development.
Young people get help to develop skills in:
- getting and sustaining a tenancy
- managing finances
- creating and maintaining a safe and healthy home
- maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- living within a community
- communicating, interacting and building relationships with others
- dealing with conflict
- developing employability skills.
Our aim is to increase young people’s confidence and resilience, enabling them to take control of their lives.
